Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake



  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 T. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts


  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease a 10” bundt pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar at medium speed until fluffy.  Then add the eggs, one at a time, beating until light and creamy.
  • Add dry ingredients alternately with the Greek yogurt and vanilla to the creamed mixture, stirring with a large spoon.
  • Spread half the batter in the prepared bundt pan, spoon 3/4 of the topping over batter.  Cover with the remaining batter and then top with the remaining topping.
  • Bake for approximately 50 to 55 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.  Cool slightly then serve.
